The Ask: Drive tourism to Downtown St Catharines from the GTA and Buffalo, New York.
Approach: Paid video campaign across YouTube, Meta, TikTok and Programmatic placements showcasing Downtown St. Catharines’ key attractions across the DINE, SHOP, EAT, and PLAY categories.
Results: The campaign generated over 1.3 million completed views and 8,376 clicks, achieving a 60% view-through rate — well above the typical 30–40% video benchmark.
With an average $2 CPC, outperforming both projected estimates and the $2.50–$4.00 tourism benchmark, the campaign delivered cost-efficient traffic while reinforcing Downtown St. Catharines as a compelling destination and driving qualified interest from highly engaged audiences.
